They are made of FC61 fine carbide stainless steel (61 Rockwell hardness), providing unmatched corrosion resistance and excellent chip resistance.

This advanced steel ensures that the razor-sharp blades retain their impressive edge longer. Thanks to an innovative ice-hardening process, the FRIODURx2 blades deliver remarkable durability, sharpness, and cutting performance.

The stunning blades are finished with a true Katana edge, paying homage to the samurai swords once forged in Seki, and feature an embossed Miyabi logo. Elegantly adorned with a silver mosaic pin, the distinguished octagonal Pakkawood handle feels as good in the hand as it looks.
