The Miyabi Black 5000MCD is a true work of art. The blade is crafted from MC66 micro-carbide powdered steel, ice-hardened to an impressive 66 HRC, resulting in an exceptionally sharp and long-lasting edge.
The blade is wrapped in 132 additional layers of steel, producing a stunning floral Damascus pattern. The handle is made from a unique wood—black ash—whose grain and color beautifully contrast with the blade’s Damascus finish.
Shaped in the traditional D-profile, the handle offers optimal ergonomics for fatigue-free cutting in the kitchen. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan.
