Receive visual and audible alerts during rides by pairing the radar with the Varia smartphone app, compatible Edge cycling computers, or Garmin smartwatches. In addition to wrist-based haptic alerts, some Garmin smartwatches can also provide voice alerts for approaching vehicles; this feature is currently available through Garmin’s public beta program for select smartwatches.
Ride with four lighting modes: day flash, night flash, steady, and group ride (which helps preserve the vision of riders behind you). Create your own custom lighting modes in the Varia smartphone app.
