The Garmin Bounce is a smartwatch designed to help kids stay active while allowing parents to stay connected. With LTE connectivity, built-in GPS, and the Garmin Jr. app, it supports messaging, location tracking, and daily activity management without requiring the child to have a phone.
With an active LTE subscription, the watch lets kids send and receive preset text messages, voice messages, and emojis. Parents can also view their child's current location, access location history, and use LiveTrack through the Garmin Jr. app.
The Bounce tracks steps, active minutes, and various timed activities. Kids can use it while walking, running, cycling, or swimming, while parents can view activity data in the Garmin Jr. app.
Parents can assign chores directly through Garmin Jr. Kids can mark them as completed on their watch and earn points that can be redeemed for rewards. Games, challenges, and interactive adventures also help encourage daily activity.
Its 1.3 in colour LCD touchscreen features a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. The watch has a 5 ATM water rating, making it suitable for activities such as swimming and playing in the water.
The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 2 days of battery life, depending on use. The silicone band is designed to fit wrists measuring 115 to 180 mm.
