The black metal tripod legs are an angular counterpoint to the black drum shade. A 3-way rotary switch on the socket controls a 150 watt incandescent bulb or equivalent CFL.

The 3-way rotary switch will only work with a 3-way bulb, otherwise this lamp will work with a simple on/off switch at its highest setting.

This lamp has a black cord that runs through the leg, hidden from view. This lamp is also compatible with smart plugs.
