A dual-piston system allows the Queen-size Murphy bed to fold down quickly and smoothly, providing a comfortable sleeping space at night while freeing up your room for use as a home office, gym, or living area during the day.
The flexible slat system follows the contours of the body and helps relieve pressure points for maximum comfort. This Murphy bed is compatible with most Queen-size mattresses (8" to 12" thick, 60 to 90 lb, 60" x 80", excluding futons) and does not require a box spring.
To prevent the risk of injury, the bed must be securely attached to the wall and floor by a qualified professional. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires fastening the bed to wood studs or masonry, removing the baseboard, and drilling into the floor. All necessary hardware is included.
This product is not suitable for children or pets weighing less than 50 lb. A minimum ceiling height of 90.5" is required, and the Murphy bed extends up to 93" from the wall.
