The bed cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum height of 85.8 in (217.9 cm). When open, the bed requires a clearance of 86.8 in (220.5 cm) from the wall. The wall bed’s dual-mount mechanism attaches to both the floor and wall for easier assembly and maximum stability and durability.
To prevent the risk of injury, the bed must be secured to the wall structure and floor by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires anchoring to wood studs or masonry, removing the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, the holes can be covered with baseboards 0.5 in/1.3 cm thick or more). All necessary hardware is included.
