The bed cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum height of 91.1 in. (231.4 cm). When open, the bed requires a clearance of 92 in. (233.7 cm) from the wall. The wall bed's dual-mount mechanism attaches to both the floor and wall for maximum stability and durability.
To avoid the risk of injury, the bed must be secured to the wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, the holes can be covered with baseboards that are 0.5 in./1.3 cm thick or more). The necessary hardware is included.
