Mackenzie Power Rocking Recliner
- Premium construction-grade spruce plywood. Superior drying process helps protect against splitting and warping.
- Materials are selected and combined according to their intended use, providing greater strength and durability. Wood components are systematically interlocked during assembly to create a stronger, more resistant frame.
- An L-shaped rear frame brace connects the armrest joint to the seat, providing solid reinforcement at the pivot point between the armrest and seat.
- The backs of all reclining furniture are removable.
Exclusive reclining mechanism
Exclusive to Elran, the gravity-operated reclining mechanism was developed by Leggett & Platt, a leader in mechanism design. This exclusive reclining mechanism uses premium-grade spruce plywood that resists warping and cracking, along with high-density pre-crushed foam for greater consistency, durability, and comfort.
Premium-quality cushioning
- 100% virgin fibre made from premium-quality Dacron (polyester).
- Crimped fibre (6 crimps per inch) provides greater resilience and helps maintain its shape.
- Anti-compaction silicone treatment.
- Hollow-core fibre (similar to a straw) allows air to circulate, providing greater softness and flexibility.
- No recycled fibre with limited resilience is used.
Unmatched seat foam comfort
- Premium-quality foam with a density of 2.05 lb/cu ft, compared with competitors' foam densities ranging from 1.5 to 1.9 lb/cu ft.
- Foam compression determines its softness, with a range of 33–38 lb/sq in and an average of 36 lb/sq in.
- Pre-compressed foam provides enhanced comfort from the moment the furniture is delivered.
- High-quality NO-SAG springs and the support rod attached to the springs help distribute weight more evenly.
- Felt placed over the springs protects the foam and helps extend its lifespan.
Sturdy frame
- Premium construction-grade spruce plywood. Superior drying process helps protect against splitting and warping.
- Materials are selected and combined according to their intended use, providing greater strength and durability. Wood components are systematically interlocked during assembly to create a strong, reinforced structure.
- TimberStrand®, a scientifically engineered laminated wood product, is used for H-beams in areas of the furniture exposed to greater stress. Its properties remain stable despite changes in temperature or humidity.
- An L-shaped rear frame brace connects the arm joint to the seat, providing solid reinforcement at the pivot point between the arm and seat.
