The Elica ER28SRB12XPR refrigerator from the Dolomite Series combines a total capacity of 12 cu. ft. with a 28-inch built-in design made to integrate directly into kitchen cabinetry. Its panel-ready front accommodates a custom panel to coordinate the appliance with surrounding cabinetry for a clean, seamless look.
The bottom-freezer configuration keeps fresh foods at a convenient height, while the flexible interior includes spill-resistant glass shelves, adjustable door bins, and multiple soft-close drawers. A No Frost system, adjustable-temperature refrigerated drawer, Eco mode, and LED lighting complete a design focused on convenient everyday food storage and organization.
The total 12 cu. ft. capacity is divided between a 9 cu. ft. refrigerator compartment and a 3 cu. ft. bottom freezer. This configuration maximizes storage while maintaining a compact footprint that is particularly well suited to kitchens where space is limited.
The panel-ready design allows the door to be fitted with a custom panel to visually integrate the refrigerator with the kitchen cabinetry. Its articulated hinge is also designed to facilitate installation in a built-in configuration.
An Elica ETHKCSS stainless steel tubular handle kit is available separately for installations requiring a coordinating handle.
Three spill-resistant glass shelves provide multiple levels for organizing food. They are adjustable and removable to create additional room for taller containers or bulky items.
Four height-adjustable door bins provide convenient storage for bottles, condiments, and frequently used items. Elica also specifies three soft-close drawers for easier organization of fresh foods.
A separate refrigerated drawer provides greater flexibility for storing different types of food. Its temperature can be adjusted from 30°F to 41°F (-1°C to 5°C), making it convenient for deli meats, cheeses, and other foods requiring a cooler zone than the main compartment.
The No Frost defrost system helps prevent frost buildup to maintain efficient operation without the need for periodic manual defrosting. It also helps provide consistent circulation of cold air throughout the compartments.
The cooling system uses a variable-speed motor to adapt its operation to the appliance’s needs. This design helps reduce noise and vibration while maintaining efficient airflow and a stable interior temperature.
Eco mode helps maintain proper food storage conditions while reducing energy consumption when certain functions are not required. In this mode, the interior lighting is turned off to help limit electricity use.
The refrigerator compartment features 6,500 K LED lighting producing up to 200 lumens, while the freezer includes 50-lumen lighting. This arrangement provides improved visibility throughout the different storage areas.
The reversible door allows the opening direction to be adapted to the kitchen layout. A door alarm also helps prevent cold air loss if the door is accidentally left open.
