The Timemore PUCKS Orbital Needle Distributor (WDT) is the first essential tool for preparing an even coffee bed. It evenly breaks up and distributes the large amount of ground coffee into an airy, uniform layer free of clumps.
Skipping this step and tamping an uneven coffee bed leads to inconsistent extraction: water will flow more quickly through certain areas than others, resulting in under-extraction or over-extraction.
The Orbital WDT is equipped with eight super-fine 0.3mm needles to penetrate deep into the coffee bed, breaking up even the smallest clumps.
Two bearings work together to provide maximum stability and smooth, bidirectional 360º rotation. Simply twist the handle in either direction to effortlessly fluff and declump coffee grounds.
