Philips Baristina: your mini barista for great coffee
With its compact design, the Philips Baristina coffee machine is ideal for solo use or for two. It prepares an espresso or a long coffee (lungo) in under a minute—perfect for busy mornings. As a bonus, Philips includes a refreshing iced coffee option to switch things up.
Additional features:
No on/off switch: when plugged in, the machine stays in standby mode to save energy. It automatically starts when a beverage is selected and returns to standby when not in use.
With just four buttons, choose between espresso, lungo, iced coffee, or a stronger brew using the intensity boost function.
Easily adjust the coffee volume: program an espresso from 30 to 70 ml or a lungo from 70 to 200 ml (maximum size ideal for a full cup).
The grinder requires no adjustment, simply add whole beans to the hopper, and the Baristina Plus does the rest.
Simplified maintenance:
Another key advantage of the Philips Baristina espresso machine is its easy maintenance.
Its innovative wood-finish portafilter includes a built-in system for easily ejecting used coffee grounds. Simply rinse the portafilter under clear water for quick cleaning. The used coffee pucks can be composted.
To rinse the brew head and remove coffee residue, insert the empty portafilter and press the intensity boost button for three seconds. Be sure to place a cup under the machine during rinsing.
The Baristina machine does not use a water filter cartridge, only occasional descaling is required, approximately every 40 liters of coffee. Be sure to use a descaling solution suitable for your coffee machine.
