Cynthia Coulombe Bégin is a Quebec artist born in Miami and raised in St-Isidore. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2006 in Quebec City. With a keen sense of spectacle, she has been continuously building out her unique personality and aesthetic signature with a strong focus on body figure.
Inspired by the human body and experience, Cynthia Coulombe Bégin's creative approach involves reconstructing the organism through fragments, with great sensitivity that prompts reflection on our identity and existence. Drawing upon the human body and its evolution, she explores her pictorial research with a focus on portraiture, where the eyes and mouth dominate.
Through her artworks, Cynthia Coulombe Bégin presents her thoughts on the soul and matter, consciousness and the universe. She gained recognition from the general public after showcasing her work on the 2019 edition of "La Voix" television show.
