A Quebec artist born in Miami, Cynthia Coulombe Bégin grew up in St-Isidore and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2006 in Quebec City.
Her flair for performance has allowed her to develop both a strong artistic personality and an aesthetic deeply tied to the human image.
Through her work, she shares her reflections on the soul and matter, consciousness and the universe.
Inspired by the body and the human experience, Cynthia Coulombe Bégin’s creative approach involves reconstructing the human form in fragments, with great sensitivity—inviting contemplation on identity and existence.
Referencing the body and its evolution, she develops a pictorial style driven by her fascination with portraiture, where the eyes and mouth often dominate.
