The Whirlpool WTW8509TL Smart Top-Load Washer offers a 6.0 to 6.1 cu. ft. I.E.C. capacity and a convenient solution for caring for delicate clothing. Its removable basket lets you wash delicate items separately while everyday clothes are washed around them. It also combines ActiveFall cascading wash, the Load & Go dispenser, and AI Wash technology to simplify the care of different loads.
The removable Delicates Basket allows delicate items to be washed separately from the rest of the load, using gentler agitation and reduced spin forces. This helps minimize snagging and tangling. Remove the basket when you need more space for bedding and bulky items.
The ActiveFall system circulates a curtain of water throughout the load to distribute the water and detergent mixture and help reach every garment. This feature is available on select cycles.
The Load & Go dispenser holds up to 1 L of liquid detergent and automatically dispenses the appropriate amount based on the load size and cycle settings. It can handle up to 20 loads before needing a refill, based on an 8 lb load with the Delicates Basket option turned off. AI Wash technology detects the load size and automatically adjusts the wash action and detergent amount for mixed loads.
