Don't worry about forgetting to defrost your meat in advance! The customized temperature profile knows how to defrost and cook to USDA food safety guidelines without overcooking. Simply press defrost, then select high or low and your cooking time: the slow cooker will do the rest.
This slow cooker offers several cooking options to cover every recipe. You can choose between high, low or hot temperature, and set the cooking timer between 30 minutes and 24 hours. The countdown timer displays the time remaining. To cook without setting a time, use the manual mode and simply select your preferred temperature.
Cook every piece of meat exactly the way you like it, without the risk of overcooking. Simply insert the probe into the meat and select the desired temperature. The control panel toggles between the desired temperature and the current internal temperature, then automatically switches to hot mode when the food is ready.
The stoneware pot's 6-quart capacity is perfect for one-pot dishes, family meals or crowd-pleasing appetizers, and it can hold a 6-lb. chicken or a 4-lb. roast.
Once food has finished cooking, the slow cooker will keep it warm until you're ready to serve it.
