High-Resolution Revolution
The advanced transducer system is powered by a high-resolution digital audio engine that works both wired and wireless in multiple configurations. Using the HDB 630’s USB-C port or an analog headphone cable, audiophiles can connect directly to local or streaming music libraries with native support for audio files up to 24-bit/96 kHz. For wireless listening, Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive delivers robust streaming performance, prioritizing sound quality and signal stability.
The headphones also include a USB-C transmitter dongle, enabling instant high-resolution aptX Adaptive upgrades for compatible sources such as smartphones and tablets.
With only 16% of smartphones supporting native high-resolution wireless audio, the included dongle instantly expands this capability to up to 80% of models via their USB-C port.
New Tools
The HDB 630 integrates a wide range of innovative, shareable sound-processing tools, allowing users to go beyond genre presets and the 5-band EQ modes available in the Smart Control Plus app.
Inspired by the flagship HE 1, the Crossfeed function subtly blends left and right channels to deliver a speaker-like listening experience, ideal for hard-panned mixes that can be fatiguing on headphones.
A groundbreaking parametric equalizer lets users boost and cut frequencies beyond the limits of a traditional graphic EQ, with customizable bandwidth (Q) settings, multiple filter types, an A/B comparator, and more.
Settings are applied directly to the headphones’ advanced processing system, ensuring audiophiles enjoy their preferred tuning regardless of the source content or app.
HDB 630 users can also share their favorite presets through the app, discovering new ways to enjoy high-resolution audio. A future update will enable preset sharing via QR code, perfect for audiophiles who experiment and document their pursuit of perfect sound within their communities.
With Smart Control Plus, users can further personalize intelligent features such as noise cancellation, on-head detection, preferred codec selection, and more.
