Manage your home office printing needs with the Canon MAXIFY GX2020. This MegaTank all-in-one printer combines printing, copying, scanning, and faxing in a compact design, while offering integrated ink tanks designed to reduce the frequency of replacements.
A single set of ink bottles can print up to 3,000 black-and-white pages or 3,000 colour pages. The four pigment-based inks produce sharp, highlighter-resistant text as well as precise colour documents. Keyed nozzles make refilling easier by helping direct each colour into the correct tank.
The MAXIFY GX2020 reaches speeds of approximately 15 images per minute in black and 10 images per minute in colour. The first page can be produced in as little as 9 seconds in black or 11 seconds in colour. Automatic two-sided printing simplifies the creation of multipage documents while helping reduce paper consumption.
The automatic document feeder holds up to 35 letter-size sheets, making it easier to copy and scan contracts, reports, and other multipage documents. The flatbed scanner is also available for individual documents, cards, and more delicate originals.
The scanner offers an optical resolution of up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi and allows files to be saved to a computer, attached to an email, or used to create multipage PDF documents. Copy functions include two-sided copying, 2-on-1 and 4-on-1 layouts, ID card copying, and resizing from 25% to 400%. The built-in fax includes memory for approximately 250 pages and supports group dialing for up to 99 destinations.
The adjustable 2.7-inch colour LCD touchscreen provides easy access to key functions and settings. The lower cassette holds up to 250 sheets of letter-size plain paper, allowing you to handle more documents before needing to reload.
Dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi helps provide a stable connection with compatible devices. The printer also supports wired Ethernet, Wireless Direct, and a high-speed USB port. The Canon PRINT app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria Print Service allow you to print from a smartphone or tablet.
The print head and maintenance cartridge can be replaced by the user to simplify maintenance. ENERGY STAR certification and an EPEAT Gold rating also reflect its energy efficiency. The printer is covered by a 3-year or 60,000-page limited warranty, whichever comes first.
