The Creality Sermoon S1 is a professional 3D scanner designed to scan everything from very small objects to large parts. Its hybrid optical system combines multiple blue laser configurations with near-infrared structured light to adapt capture to fine details, complex surfaces, cavities, and large subjects.
Four Modes for Different Scanning Needs
Single laser line mode makes it easier to capture deep holes, grooves, and hard-to-reach areas. The 7 parallel laser lines are suited for intricate details, while the 34 cross laser lines quickly cover medium and large objects. The four-lens near-infrared system allows large objects and the human body to be scanned without markers.
High Accuracy and Fast Capture
The Sermoon S1 achieves accuracy of up to 0.02 mm and volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.08 mm/m in blue laser mode. Scanning speeds can reach 90 frames per second with the parallel-line and single-line modes and 70 frames per second with the cross-line mode. It can capture up to 1,428,000 points per second to speed up the scanning of detailed models.
Extended Scanning Range
By combining blue lasers with near-infrared structured light, the scanner supports objects ranging in size from 5 x 5 x 5 mm to 4,000 x 4,000 x 4,000 mm. Its wide field of view reduces the number of markers required and improves tracking stability when scanning large surfaces.
Effective Capture of Challenging Surfaces
The Sermoon S1 can scan black and metallic objects without requiring scanning spray to be applied beforehand. Its different lighting modes also support indoor and outdoor use, depending on ambient lighting conditions and the selected mode.
High-Definition Colour Textures
A 2 MP RGB camera and dual-colour LED lights capture the object's colours and textures. Single-shot 3D imaging technology helps stabilize tracking and reduce alignment errors caused by hand movement.
AI-Assisted Processing
CrealityScan 4.0 software provides image and point-cloud processing tools, guided tutorials, and one-click model processing. An AI-assisted temperature compensation algorithm and thermal management system help maintain stable results during extended scanning sessions.
Connectivity for Professional Workflows
The scanner connects directly to a computer and supports Windows and macOS systems. Wireless scanning is also possible with the compatible Scan Bridge accessory, sold separately. Files can then be integrated into design, reverse engineering, inspection, and 3D printing workflows.
