SELPHY Layout is the free add-on app for SELPHY printers that lets you print, edit and add fun effects directly from your smartphone.
Now updated to version V3.0, the SELPHY Layout app lets you organize the way you want to print your images. You can create collages, choose the images you want to use for mini stickers, add pattern overlay effects and even add QR codes to your prints to direct someone to a specific web page.
Most dye-sublimation printers can only produce glossy prints (because the final topcoat is glossy), but Canon has learned to modify the texture of the final print so you can choose between glossy, semi-gloss and satin finishes. What's more, you can print patterns on the top coat to give your images a subtle touch of texture.
There are many ways to print images on the SELPHY CP1500, so it's easy to choose the one that suits you best, whether it's Wi-Fi, AirPrint, a USB port (computer and USB stick), your camera's memory card or the SELPHY Photo Layout smartphone app.
