TANGUAY SAFE 2019

From 20 March to 7 April 2019

1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1.1. The "2019 Tanguay FURNITURE" promotion begins on March 20, 2019 and ends on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the eight (8) Tanguay Furniture shops, and on April 7, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. on the tanguay.ca website.

1.2. To be eligible for the contest, the participant must have a Tanguay customer profile or complete it on the Tanguay Furniture website at www.tanguay.ca or text the word "COFFRE" to 1-800-TANGUAY (see details in section 1.3).

CUSTOMERS WHO ALREADY HAVE A CUSTOMER PROFILE:

On March 20, 2019, all customers with a duly completed customer profile (100% progress bar) will find two participation possibilities in the "Safe" tab. An animated participation on the WEB allowing them to open the Tanguay safe and win an instant prize. The second participation will be a bar code that can only be validated at one of the eight (8) Tanguay shops. Participants will be able to instantly win one of the prizes listed in point 2 of these rules.

CUSTOMERS WISHING TO CREATE A CUSTOMER PROFILE:

Participants will have to complete their customer profile on www.tanguay.ca. Once the profile is duly completed (progress bar at 100%), a "Safe" tab will be activated and participants will find in it under the "Safe" tab two participation possibilities. An animated participation on the WEB allowing them to open the Tanguay safe and win an instant prize. The second participation will be a bar code that can only be validated at one of the eight (8) Tanguay shops. Participants will be able to instantly win one of the prizes listed in point 2 of these rules.

1.3. The entrant may also text the word "COFFEE" to the 1-800-tanguay number (1-800-826-4829) and will be automatically redirected to the profile registration page. Charges may apply for sending and receiving text messages depending on the participant's telephone service provider.

1.4 A purchase is not required.

1.5. Only one in-store and one web validation per customer profile will be accepted.

1.6. The deadline for participation is Sunday, April 7, 2019, 5:00 p.m. in the 8 Tanguay Furniture shops and April 7, 2019, 11:59 p.m. on tanguay.ca.

1.7. Prior to obtaining each prize, as an essential condition for obtaining it, each winner must correctly answer the following mathematical skill-testing question 150 x 2 + 5. If the mathematical skill-testing question is answered correctly, the participant will be declared a winner.

2. PRICE

2.1. Participants will be able to win:

  • One of one hundred (100) travel credits worth $2,000 from Voyages Laurier du Vallon.
  • One of five thousand two hundred and fifty (5,250) $50 promo codes from Ameublements Tanguay (valid until July 7, 2019, non-cashable and must be used for a minimum purchase of $50, not applicable on previous purchase and on gift card purchase).
  • One of one thousand (1000) $75 promo codes from Ameublements Tanguay (valid until July 7, 2019, non-cashable and must be used for a minimum purchase of $75, not applicable on previous purchase and on gift card purchase).
  • One of six hundred (600) $100 promo codes from Ameublements Tanguay (valid until July 7, 2019, non-cashable and must be used for a minimum purchase of $100, not applicable on previous purchase and on gift card purchase).
  • One of three hundred and fifty (350) $150 promo codes from Ameublements Tanguay (valid until July 7, 2019, non-cashable and must be used for a minimum purchase of $150, not applicable on previous purchase and on gift card purchase).
  • One of two hundred (200) Kitchenaid stand mixers (PTR: 701344) valued at $500.00.

2.2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-cashable and non-exchangeable.

2.3 When a safe or a promotional code is found to be a winner, the participant will automatically receive an e-mail at the address he/she has entered in his/her customer profile. This email will indicate the name of the person to contact to claim the prize for merchandise or travel. For promotional code prizes, an email will also be automatically sent to the participant (email entered in the profile) confirming the prize and the promotional code number will be automatically added to the customer profile under the "my discounts and exclusive offers" tab. The winner will be able to use the discount instantly until July 7, 2019.

3. GENERAL REGULATIONS

The total value of the prizes is seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($750,000 CAD).

3.1 By participating in this contest, the winners authorize Ameublements Tanguay and its representatives to use, if required, their names, photographs, images and/or voices in order to inform all media that they are the winners or finalists of the contest, without any form of compensation.

3.2. Prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and may not, at the request of the winners, be substituted for another prize. The prize will be awarded to the holder of the winning profile.

3.3. Winners of the travel credits and stand mixer will have until 30 April to claim their prize.

3.4. This contest is not open to employees, agents and/or representatives of Ameublements Tanguay, distribution companies or companies affiliated with it, advertising agencies or any other party involved in the contest as well as, respectively, any person with whom such employee, agent and/or representative resides or any member of his immediate family. For the purposes of these Contest Rules, "immediate family" means any person who resides at the same address as such employee, agent and/or representative. Any entrant who is selected as a winner in this contest and who does not meet these eligibility requirements will be automatically disqualified.

3.5. Ameublements Tanguay, its companies and divisions and any other legal entity belonging to the same corporate group, the advertising or promotional agencies related to the contest and respectively their shareholders, directors, officers, employees, as well as any other stakeholder related to this contest are released from any responsibility related to the prizes and the contest and do not provide any guarantee with regard to them.

3.6. Ameublements Tanguay reserves the right to reject any entry form that is illegible, mutilated or contains a human or mechanical error. Facsimiles are not accepted. Prizes are not transferable at any time. Ameublements Tanguay reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest without notice, subject to obtaining any necessary approval from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. Ameublements Tanguay is not responsible for any lost or forgotten digital communications or emails.

3.7. The contest rules are available in the eight (8) Ameublements Tanguay shops, on the tanguay.ca website as well as at the Ameublements Tanguay head office located at 7200 Armand-Viau Street, Quebec City (Quebec) G1C 2A7.

3.8. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

3.9. The decisions of Tanguay Furniture in the context of the contest are final and without appeal. This contest is subject to all applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations.
