Comfort Guarantee

Choose your mattress with confidence.

At Tanguay, customer satisfaction is our top priority.

We know that your mattress is one of the most used and valued pieces of furniture in your home, which is why choosing the right one is so important. In addition to the manufacturer's standard warranty, which covers manufacturing defects, Tanguay offers a 90-Day Comfort Guarantee that allows you to exchange your mattress if you are not completely satisfied with its comfort.

However, the following conditions apply:

  • The mattress purchase must be accompanied, on the same sales contract, by the purchase of a stain-resistant mattress protector of the same size.
  • The mattress protector must be used at all times to protect the mattress.
  • The customer must keep the mattress for a minimum of 60 days, as an adjustment period is necessary to become accustomed to a new level of comfort.
  • The Comfort Guarantee is valid for up to 90 days from the date of delivery. It allows the customer to exchange the mattress for another model of equal or greater value by paying the price difference, if applicable. Please note that no refunds will be issued.
  • If the mattress is exchanged, it must be returned clean and free of damage.
  • The exchange must take place at the location where the mattress was originally delivered.
  • The Comfort Guarantee is limited to one exchange only.
  • The Comfort Guarantee does not apply if the customer considers the mattress to be too large or too thick.
  • A $50 handling fee will apply when exchanging your mattress.

Choosing the right mattress

The Comfort Guarantee ensures that you get a good mattress that meets your needs. But here are some tips to help you choose the right mattress from the start.

What level of firmness do you need?

Firmness describes the hardness of a mattress. There are three types of mattresses: soft mattresses, balanced mattresses and firm mattresses.

To compare options, a firmness scale of 1 (very soft) to 10 (extra-firm) is generally used.

What is your sleeping position?

Your sleeping position combined with your body weight typically determines the ideal firmness level of your mattress.

For example, side sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds will sleep better on a soft mattress. People who sleep on their backs or sides and weigh more than 230 pounds will sleep better on an extra-firm mattress.

It's all about weight and sleeping position.

Choosing a mattress is something you do once every 10 or 15 years. Whether it's a pocket spring, memory foam or a boxed mattress, it's always important to take the time to choose your mattress properly. After all, the quality of your sleep depends on it.

If you need help choosing your next mattress, don't hesitate to ask our team. With their advice, you will choose the right mattress and sleep better.

Tanguay's Comfort Guarantee ensures that you make the right choice for years of comfortable sleep.
